last 2 times on the water 10/11/11 and 10/13/11 my friend will and i lifted 16lbs+ and 17lbs + just off the gravel pit 24 fow. have good electronics to locate the fish, using some cut bait on the bottom, and watch for the soft bite. throw backs and trash at a minimum. even rick at the cleaners was impressed with the quality. dont know if it makes a differance but i use 6# p line long shank 2#s 3inchs and 8inches above a 1 oz. sinker on the bottom
