A Good Day Jigging
Went out with my wife this morning. We were a little late trying to not get wet. Started at 8:15 and had a limit at 11:30. We should have been done an hour earlier but I had 5 or 6 fish get off before they got to the boat. I also tried to hoist one in for my wife and it fell back. I had just caught one and my stinger was tangled in the net. I should have just netted it too but didn’t want to risk a bigger tangle. Another lesson…
Exactly same recipe as yesterday except there was a good bit more wind. We were moving at .7 to.9 mph which is just a little faster than I prefer but we upsized jigs to 3/4 and all was good

Re: A Good Day Jigging
Jigging was so good today, we got our limit despite the apparent fish-repelling curse I have. Most were 16-20" - except our catch #18, which was 26", a nice way to end the day. We finished by 1pm. Green, chartreuse, purple, black and pink jigs all worked. We were about a mile south of H can with 20 other boats. We could see chocolate milk starting out at H but it was just nicely stained at 15' where we were. Great day on the Lake!

Re: A Good Day Jigging
I heard there were a lot of limits on Friday, just east of the reef complex and in the South Passage. Mostly jigging.
