Jigging
I was thinking of coming up on the 23rd and 24th was going to do some jigging around the reefs you guys think it's too early or am I wasting my time???

All depends on Mother Nature. I would give it a try if you already have it planned.

Depends on Weather, most years Trolling is what works best until April , but this year very Mild and no Ice so they may be on the reefs early. also daylight is a key longer days is a major factor, along with water Temp.
so many things to consider, I live close so we go after work on nice days , not sure if I would make a long drive in March to Jig. although who knows with this crazy weather . best to watch fishing reports or call area bait shops, Happy Hooker along with Butch and Denny's I know both Owners and they would give honest reports.

Only a hour and a half away days are starting to get longer heard good water temp is around 40 so goong to try jig if no luck we'll try trolling some bandits hope the weather stays nice. Is thete alot of dirty water with all the rain??

I don't live on the lake, but only 20 minutes away, in my opinion, for the season, we haven't seen much ice, rain or snow, practically none.
