Walleye 9/6/21-East of Kellys Island

First trip for walleye since July 22, 2021. Started in 35 feet of water SE of Kellys but only caught one keeper and 2 throwbacks. Moved North East into 45 feet of water and finished a 2 person limit. Fished 1230-5pm. Most fish in 16-17 inch range. 2 at 19 inches and 1 23 inch. 30 plus throwbacks most around 14 inches.

What worked for us today:

Dipsey divers at 0 setting 72-75 back. Perch colored worm harness and purple stinger spoon.

Dipsey divers at 3 setting 85 back. Perch and wonder bread stinger spoons.

40 jet diver straight lined off stern 120 back. Blue/Chrome little cloe spoon (caught most of keepers)

Speed 2.5 mph. Lots of hits on turns. Have to keep checking for the small ones hanging on.
