Walleye Report 9/16/20- East of Kellys

Yesterday was our first time out since 8/21/20. Ran to SE side of Kellys based on information posted on this site and from Highway Bait. Set up initially with Bandits but switched 3 of 5 rods to Stinger spoons after some time with no fish. Moved more North of the pack and kept adjusting our speed and depths until we finally hit fish. Two man limit in about 2 hours with 7 throwbacks (4 were just under the 15 inch limit). All but one fish came on spoons. Purple and wonderbread colors took the fish.

Dipsey divers set #1 at 70 ft. #3 at 100 ft.

TT40 set at 115 ft.

Speed 2.1-2.3 MPH

Now we wait until the NE winds settle down again!

Glad you got them figured out. We fished that area a few days ago and caught all our fish on bandits. All were nice size from 18-24” and only 1 short. We started catching when we increased our speed.

SE corner of Kellys on a line with Cedar Point. Get into 40 plus feet of water.
