NW of Kelly's island 7/17/2020

Took a 2 man limit trolling NW of Kelly's a few miles short of the border. Chrome, Purple and Fire Tiger bandits caught most fish. Had a Blue/Chrome spoon on a #1 Dipsey that was hit hard 5x but we only managed to keep on one fish. Not sure why they were getting off.

Bandits set with 2 oz weight 50/60, 50/70 and 50/80. Dipsey on #1 setting 45 back. Nice grade of fish-weighed 32 lbs at cleaners. Speed 2.8 mph.

New to trolling and we only use 4 rods. Had all hooked up same time at one point.

Nice to hear. We launch from SBI and that’s a lot closer than NE of Kelly’s. Hopefully some still there next week. Our first year trolling with boards and cranks as well.
