be there on the island the 5-7 of may...where around the island the best place to fish??

The first two weeks of May are tremendous for Walleye dead North of Kelly's Island. The circular area formed by the State Park Beach to the south, the reefs at the Canadian Border to the North and North East of the island form a pocket . (Gull reef & Kelly's reef) The deepest part in the area is approx 50 feet.

Drift or troll across this area for post spawn walleye resting & feeding heavily.
