Sheffield Lake 6/15
We went out early to avoid the storm. 38-41? on water and crushed them. Drifting 1 oz egg weights with red crawler harnesses. Two-man limit by 9:00. Home in time to take a nap.
A few 26? eyes, but all the others were 17-21. I?ve only fished western basin, but I like this place better.
Tight lines!!!

Did you launch out of Lorain then? We did June 8th through the 10th. Longest was a 26" most were 17" through 23" through we through back as many as we kept for our limits. I know this was past history but we avoided the May fly hatch but the female flies were KILLERS! FUll long jeans and long sleeved heaver shirts were a must!!

Re: Sheffield Lake 6/15
I like the ramp there. It?s not as pressured as the other areas (for now). It?s not as cool as fishing by the islands, but the fishing has been pretty good the few weeks I?ve done it.
I just can?t stand trolling, so it?s nice that we have the option to drift and cast this time of year (as opposed to the eastern basin).
