Sheffield Village
So, went to Avon Lake today, and promptly left. The line for the ramp stretched to the street at 6:10 am. So we went down to Sheffield Lake. Hammered them. Drifted/casted red crawler harnesses. 41?. Two man limit by 9:30 and a fish Ohio (almost three). One ounce egg sinker. Stay west of the wave buoy; anything east is white bass. And there were a lot. Lots of spikes.
By the way, be nice on the ramp. You were new once as well.

Re: Sheffield Village
Congrats on a couple great trips and thanks for posting. I may stay in the Eastern Basin for the rest of the season but I enjoy reading everyone's posts and appreciate folks who share their success and info.
There are plenty of walleyes for everyone and I enjoy catching them anyway I can. Like you, we've had a lot of fun casting harnesses with 1 oz weights. I'm going to try some casting and jigging this year with sinking minnow jerkbaits.
Will post results when I do . Tight lines and safe boating to ya.
