Fall Brawl quiet?

Just curious, it seems like this site has gone total radio silent the last couple weeks. Is that because folks are hangin em up for the season or is everyone mum because of the big Erie Fall Brawl contest?

I fish mainly west of the islands. Between the rain - wind & crappy perch fishing I have not fished in 6 weeks. Not to mention $ 6.50 fuel to throw away $24 in unused bait because no perch bites

Slow to non existent bite and then this long NE blow and you don't get many reports.Be a few days after this blow till people will try again and find the fish.The water is cooling off pretty good now.Hopefully will improve the perch and walleye bite.

Brawl is 20 days away fishing is slow alot of people are not fishing

Hopefully these cool nights will drop the water temp and draw the bigger Perch in. This season was one of the worst that I can remember. On a good note, it seems that quit a few small perch were being caught so that makes for a good future outlook. Keeping my fingers crossed that their will be some chances to get some for the freezer or it will be a long perch free winter.
