Are the walleyes around yet and biting? Im not in brawl and wanting to get up there a couple times this fall. Just curious . Trying to decide when to come. Thanks for any info.

Generally, as the water cools the fishing gets better. You play the tradeoff of worse weather but better fishing. Some of my best days of fishing take place in late December. But you of course can't get out there every year in December.

go to huron the bite is picking up, very good two weekend ago, as fast as you could catch them north of the huron dump

Wondering, are you talking about the dumping grounds that's just a little west to the channel in about 35 fow or the one out in 45 fow? We fished the 45 fow yesterday and did well, nice grade of fish.
