Post Fall Brawl advice?
I plan to make the trip over to Erie tomorrow and just wondered if anyone has been out recently and what areas are holding walleye. The weather has been so windy this fall that I've only made it out a couple times, but tomorrow looks like it will be favorable wind and bearable temps. At this point I plan to head out of Huron and probably check out the Cedar point area maybe 32 to 38 FOW. Any advice is greatly appreciated and I will be happy to post my results.

Re: Post Fall Brawl advice?
have not been to Huron, but i do know that from Lorain east to Fairport all the harbors are holding lots of fish. the screen is full of them. we targeted the upper 12 feet and have had no problem getting our fish. P10'S and shallow bandits on boards did most of work. good luck and stay safe out there.

Re: Post Fall Brawl advice?
I was at Huron this am...went west out of the harbor and didn't find many marks...moved back over to east of mouth of river and found a nice pod of 24-26" fish. Bandits and DDHJ 50+10 and 50+25 caught all but two fish, RR Deep Little Ripper got two. 31 FOW, 1.5 sog, 40 deg F temp at surface, same temp at 25'. Hopefully we get another day or two before the end of the year like today....so nice to have zero wind and no bugs lol. Happy Holidays all!

Re: Post Fall Brawl advice?
So I got out this morning and headed straight north of Huron checking for marks every 1/4 mile or so. Found some decent marks once I got to 34 to 36 fow, so I marked it and continued north until I hit 39 to 40 ft. and the marks were even better. Set up there around 7:45 and had my limit by 9 or so. Got the most hits when I was down 18 to 22 feet. Ran Bandits unassisted at 80, also used P10's at 35/30 and they did well. Dark colors with contrast worked best, especially dark purple with green stripes. Speed was 1.4 to 1.6. Around 1:30 I decided to move in and try a bit shallower, around 35 fow, which was where most of the boats were today. Ended up getting a couple real nice ones, one was a fish Ohio on a purple/green P10 set at 35/37. Was a very good day with perfect walleye catching weather. Good luck all!
