    Default Rivers near the lake

Went for a drive to the lake to check on my boat and crossed several small creeks and rivers along the way. Wolf Creek at Bettsville is running full, Muskellunge Creek is running full at the St Rt 590 bridge in Lindsey both heading to the Sandusky River. The Portage river is running full with minor flooding/high water at the bridge on St. Rt. 590. The Toussaint River the ice has lifted and the river is flowing under and on top of the ice but the ice has not broken up yet at the bridge on Benton Carroll 23. Lacarpe and the Rusha Creeks are running full also. The Toussaint River and Beef Creek are still solidly iced in from the Rt 2 bridge and the Beef Creek bridge as far as one can see toward the lake. I think it will be at least week to 10 days before those 2 open up. Rain and warmer weather will definitely speed up the process.

Bring on the thaw! I'm ready to get out on the lake in a boat already!
