huron area fishing any good ?

headed up to try east of Kelly's from huron, has anyone done good there in the past week ? we've been fishing by rattlesnake island but haven't done very good and the walleye got small last weekend. We were catching them 24-27 ft down on spoons with jets. Any one had problems with your gold worm harness being taken by something ? got good strike and lost 3 harness that day.

I'm pretty sure Huron falls into the Central Basin forum, you might want to check there for reports.

Perhaps it's the Storm Hag getting your baits... Good luck out east.

There are some giant sheephead in the western basin rt. now. Caught one yesterday on a gold harness. It was well over 30" long probably 15# or more.
