Two things stand out with your posting...
"I fished my numbers"....Question: Did you mark any fish there before fishing the area?
"The water was dirty"....Question: Did you mark any fish before fishing the area? If you marked fish...did you use a bait that had any rattles in it? If they can't see the bait, they can zero in on the "vibration" of a rattle.
The fish will typically move to a better clarity of water if it's too muddy. You can usually find the mud line where the mud meets the clean...fish the "mixing" water, as that usually holds the most active fish.Captain Julia "Juls" Davis
