Where to stay.... close to Port Clinton ??

Hi...
Is there a good safe hotel/motel around Port Clinton that's reasonably cheap. ??
I'm looking for a place that's safe to leave a truck with snowmobile trailer in the parking lot, and a nice clean room..
Looking for a place for Thursday - Sunday this week.

Where do most Ice fisherman stay ??

There's a Sleep In on Rt 53 just off Rt 2. Don't know number or costs

There is a Super 8 right along the beach in PC. Then along Rt. 53 at Rt. 2 there are a couple. Holiday Inn at Rt. 53 and Rt 163. Some of the small ones may be closed for the winter season. Super 8 in town has several boaters stay there all year and there are a couple more hotels along that same stretch in town. Super 8 rates for winter may be under 50 bucks a night.

Stayed at the Peninsula Motel on 163 of and on for years,real reasonable rates not a honeymoon suite but clean adequate and safe.Good restaurant next door.Beside Highway Bait.Not sure about winter rates but cheaper than most in summer.
