Who's fishin this weekend? (1/24-1/26)

Just checking to see who's fishin' this weekend..

Wind forecast this weekend from 3 different sources (Weather channel, accuweather and weather underground)
Friday: SW-32, SW-20, SSW-25
Saturday: W-25, W-21, NW-18
Sunday: SW-18, NW-10, SW-16

Sounds like its going to be pretty windy. I was hoping to make first trip of season but now second guessing due to weather. Itchin' to go fishin', not swimming, floating or drifting.

What's the general consensus as far as what an acceptable wind speed is? If I don't go this weekend then I'm tempted to head up sometime during the week next week..

hey man, im in the same boat you are. I cant stand it not bein able to go up fishing this weekend, but mother nature says NO. Be patient, February will be the month. Let mother nature build 1 to 2 feet of ice for us to fish when it warms up a little. Hang in there, even though its tough. lol

Friday and Saturday are out. Not fun fishing in the gale force winds. Sunday doesn't look bad, but will have to travel like first ice. You won't know what the wind did to the ice so travel with extra caution.
