summer fishing I like to run 1.8 to 2.0 so I don't think speed is your problem. I would just guess your not in fish or you need to work on depth. vary your presentation until you start getting fish then move all lines to where your getting fish. try shortening or lengthening your leads until your getting fish. learn how deep your lures are running then try to fish just above where your marking fish on your fish finder.

if you plan on trolling earlier in the year your going to need to slow down a little. so you might want to go ahead and invest in a larger set of bags. I have a 21 ft boat and with the bags im using I have to run about 900 rpm,s to go 2.0 mph so I could run much slower as my engine idles at 600 rpm,s. I lucked out on my bags as I found them in the middle of the road and decided to try them and they just turned out to be the right size. I have been using the easy troller trolling plate until this year.
