going fishing out of Port Clinton 7/11 thru 7/13

Went out Sunday fairly early out of Port Clinton, over to Canadian side south of Peele island. Fished with 3 others, in wagon wheel area. May Flys were still bad, but caught a boat limit of eyes in 28-30 FOW in 5 hours, casting with crawlers on harness with gold/silver blades. Lot's of sheepheads and a few perch also.

Others who were out very early had limits in less than 3 hours.

do you need a canadian fishing license to fish in there

If you cross the Canadian Line and are fishing, it's in your best interest to have one. You can get one at West dock neer tha Wagon Wheel reef. They sell them in the tavern there. $65 full season, $45 conservation season, $25 for 8day conservation or $12 for the day.
