How does your cleaner weigh the fish? Is this whole weight?

yes it is live wieght. you figure 5 perch per lb. is small, 4 perch
is avg. 3 perch perch lb. is good, 2 perch per lb. is great, general rule of thumb.

Reel sport charters ran a evening trip tonight with capt. Joe
guiding the crew, well they ran to a different spot this
evening , with same results 5 man limit 150 perch at 39 lbs. at the cleaners took 3.5 hours to sort thru for a limit. same area as this morning except 1/2 mile away. Skipper nine rigs, and
spreaders with blue perch scale blades. Reel sport will be back at it in the morning. Reel sport team 419 265 2736 ch. 68

wensday we fished intake, bouy 13, out by gravel pit 3 guys 47 perch but nice fish up to 12 inches lake was flat and hot. we left at 1 pm started at 8 am. back at dock got a tip from a friend that an old hot spot was very good. so friday we tried 3 miles off wards canal 20-21 ft of water being the only boat there we started with nice fish and lots of doubles shinners on spreaders whole or cut in half sorted alot with lots of little white perch but after 3 hours we had our 90 23 pounds at cleaners. saturday went back to same spot started the day i got a double one sheaphead and a 5 inch perch baited back up and did the samething 4 times in a row i swear the same 2 fish were hitting it over and over. but then the yellows were on fire took our 90 in 2 hours had 2 buddys come in with same results lots of 9-10 inch fish biggest 11-1/2 and we sorted keeping mostly 8-10 inch fish 28 pounds. the good thing is we use very little gas so back at it all next week taking to day off to rest back at cleaners they were going strong with lots of perch they will be busy looks like everybody did the same no matter where they fished

I run a perch charter on the Canada side. We have more liberal limits and our cleaner does it on cleaned weight.
