My 1987 four winns 241 liberator. 454 with bravo 1 not your normal fishing boat.....but had to get one that would fill the speed freak in me too and the needs of a growning family to be.
likes...FAST and LOUD, Lots of seating to take ppl with me if we go to the island, plenty or room in the cuddy, cold fridge, handles the waves very nice, even on plane in 4 to 5 ft, open space to fish for both walleye and perch.
dislike no place to get out the sun( yet ) or the rain or wave spray. can't troll she idles at like 6mph, only has a 454 not a 502 or bigger ( maybe next winter ) won't stay on good plane much under about 22mph but on the other hand cruised real nice at around 35 mph at 2800-3000 rpm

Boat
My dads boat that we use all the time. It is a 19 foot tracker with a 115 mercury on the back. It is great on gas and isn't scared of the big water. It goes on and off the trailer very nicely and will easily fish 5 people with enough room that we arent walkin all over everyone. We were kind of sceptical at first to buy a aluminum boat but do NOT regret it at all, especially after driving past the gas dock and seeing gas at $4.33 a gal.Haven't found anything we don't like about it yet. I would deffinatly recomend this boat to anyone in the market for an aluminum boat. We priced lunds and compared boats and this boat in my opinion is better built with a price tag that you could buy 2 of these for the price of one lund!

Here is my boat, 1984 28' Marinette Sportsman. I just bought her a month ago, had been searching for one for a LONG time!
Finally found a nice one with only two previous owners before me. Speaking of owners, the gentleman I bought her from is a class act, he made sure any issues were taken care of before I took delivery, heck of a nice guy, and he had all the maint. records since she was new. I told him to call me up anytime and we'd go fishing.

It's a Lake Erie classic!!
All aluminum hull, built like a battle ship
Big and comfortable
Huge fishing deck with no engine cover in the way
Hard top
Dislikes:
Well...none, Marinette got it right from the get go!
Maybe the gas engine, one of my friends converted his Marinette to a Cummins diesel and cut his fuel down by half!
Love the old school wheel!!
Galley for the occasional trip to Cedar Point or Put In Bay
Plenty of seating

Here is my new (to me) boat. Picked it up in North Carolina in February. It's going in the water tomorrow for the first time.
2005 Proline 23' Walk-Around
8-1/2' Beam
200hp Mercury Optimax, Saltwater Series
Can't wait to hear her run and see her float tomorrow, although I probably wont be leaving the dock due to weather... I dock in the Sandusky Bay close to Cedar Point.
