Anyone trying for perch yet in the Port Clinton Area?

I generally start looking for them after the July 4 th. Weekend..

I know my Dad's neighbor went out this past Saturday and caught 25 perch near Luna Pier/Bolles Harbor. No idea how long he was out there or how many people were with him.

With these unusual winds from the NE this season it might change things up. Normally a little early for oerch close in, but then againg we normally get westerly winds to keep the walleye in closer, but these ne winds have pushed them deeper earlier this season, so...if walleye are out, perch might be comming in.....hmmm. might try some minnows....
