It's a very dynamic Lake, things change year-to-year. You may be too late or too early. You may have missed the big schools (if there were any) by a short quarter or half mile. Time of day. All sorts of factors and possibilities.

Has anyone noticed there haven't been any posts about fishing success in the Green Island to Niagara reef area? The big open area between the Islands and the Major reef complex? That area has always gotten hot at late May or early June. Quick limits of walleye have been caught consistently for over two weeks in the South Passage and there's no sign of slowing down.

It's going to be a different year with the huge population of small walleye driving the walleye habits and locations.
