For those of you who use Skipper 9's, do you find it better with beads or plan, and if with beads what colors seem to work the best for you? Thanks

Bought some of these from Hi-way Bait yesterday. Had to ask for them as packages are not marked. Looked like basic croppie rig with very short lead to hooks. Was concerned they may tangle up. Gave them a shot and after a couple hours it was all tangled and twisted. It caught perch but no better than spreader by brother was using. Switched over to spreader. Won't buy anymore. Especially at $3.99 apiece
