Eye Hunter would be a great choice not only because he runs a great business he also is a sponsor of Walleye dot Com. If not him and if you like this site and want to keep it free you should also look at the rest of the captains and Charter services that help keep this site free.

Wow, Hmmmm. Your pick of 700 or so charter captains on Erie. Some are large boat capt and there are several small boat captains. Word of mouth is always best.

If capt jim is booked, look at michael johnson from reel sport. Also a stand up guy.

I would recommend doing a little research on this one. That's all I'm going to say on the matter.

I can recommend Eyehunter as well, top notch operation.

Agree. Many here have called him out for Very shady things. Hence the reason he no longer comes to these boards. Call many of the local bait shops and ask as well. You will get the same answers.

Jerry Abel! Head Hunter out of Channel Grove is always my go-to. You'll be casting instead of trolling. He WILL put you on the fish, just be prepared to know how to use a rod and reel or he'll probably ridicule you. He's hilarious too.

Skipper9 with Eyehunter Charters is in here a lot and you can contact him. He and the Eyehunter crew can't be beat.

You asked for captains to avoid... CHECK YOUR PM.
