I just bought 2 of the stern planers by Church Tackle and they look like they will do everything they have claimed and you have related to, and then some just like their side planers do. I in the past had tried the musky ball for this purpose but was disappointed in there performance and difficulty of use. These Church Stern Planers look like the real deal to me and will help fill that dead spot off of the stern of my boat where we very seldom run lines due to the skittish boat shy fish in the western basin. I fish the Western Basin of Erie but read your threads on your end of the Lake not only for fishing content but for the laughs and barbs that you guys toss back and forth in a good natured way like a hot potato. Kudos to you guys who post on this thread and church tackle who seems to never be satisfied and are constantly looking for new ideas as well as improvements to their existing line of products.
