2013 hunting thread

So got up and decided not to fish but took a walk through a part of the federal land near my house lots of great sign already out there. I had my nephew with me so didn't see anything as far as an actual deer, he don't get the whole quiet in the woods thing yet. After a few hrs walking i would guess i noticed I'm phoneless lol. I walked back through and no luxk finding it also had a hungry growing boy lol so ran him home and got his belly full on the way. After going back out looking i found it in mud damp and not working so in a bowl of rice on a heating pad semi taken apart and life returned to it several hrs later the DROIDX lives another day. Also did see some flatheads while looking 2nd time around. Have to see how many bow hunters utilize that area it could be productive.

I was just going to ask how many you had already? I have not been out yet can't seem to get into it so far, old age I guess

To warm for me. I haven't been out yet besides scouting.

I already got one, a small one, but its still meat in the freezer.
I shot it in Turnpike State Forest, by West Almond in Allegany county.
Going out next weekend again, thinking about heading to Olcott this weekend for some more salmon action.

Not yet. A lot of small pass ups and does. Hard to stick the little buck when your staring at the big ones out of range. I just wanna use my muzzleloader. Lol
