Lol three years ago I went out and got really drunk. My neighbor woke me up. It was pouring rain that morning. I left me gun in the case and took it with me. We got into the ground blind hut, I curled up In the corner using my gun case as a pillow and drunkenly told my neighbor to wake me up if he sees anything. Lmao. He said I slept for 5 1/2 hrs. I won't go out anymore the night before

Some deer came tumbling passed me in the field. I took a shot but my bullet stopped and turned mid air and went the other way. This wind sucks lol

I have one. Happened to my buddy Saturday evening. He lives on 120 acres towards springville , this side of. Rt 39. Anyway, he was walking back to his atv, shotgun tucked under his arm, and an 8 point walks out not more than 15 ft in front of him on the trail. He gets a quick point and shoot shot off and the deer drops right there in the trail, head out and all four legs sticking out. ( like a dog sunning itself ). So my buddy walks up and doesn't see it breathing. So he's standing there admiring the rack , and the buck springs to his feet and goes after my buddy. He's got the shotgun across his rack, locked in the tines. My buddy's got ahold of both ends of the gun, And the buck is pushing him around. He digs his toes in while sliding backwards trying to stay on his feet while yelling at the deer. After a minute , the buck stops pushing and backs up 5-6feet. Head down and starts to charge again. My buddy gets a hip shot off and the deer spins around and takes off. He found it the next morning 80yds from where he shot it.
Lucky he didn't get gored. When he first started telling me the story , I thought he was gonna tell me that the deer ran off with his gun. Lol Attachment 1243

I hunt in Orangeville (Land of the exploding windmills, we all heard it !!)

Nice buck came out of a creek bed at about 8:30. One shot with the Savage 99 EG .308 and he was toast. Never knew he was THIS big until I walked up on him.
