OK - Time's up. I'm B-A-C-K. Sorry to say. I would have liked to stay a little longer. I left Myrtle Beach it was 75. You guys really screwed up the weather here. It took about 13 hrs. Rt. 19 was closed by Summer ville because of a Bridge Day. If you travel that way you know where I mean. I think they bungy jump off it. One day in the fall they close Rt 19. I had to hit it. I had to go to Charleston W V to get around it.
I did eventually get the video. I think we should put them in a cage with jellow or mud on the floor and let them go at it. We can charge and get gas money for fishing. :D We can be prompters. Or something like that.v:confused:
Fished the lower Nia. Monday only one bass & had 2 hits. Used kiwk fish ,minnows,& egg sacs. Saw 4 other boats & didn't see any fish for them either. Saw one shore guy land one, that was it. I think it might be a bit early yet.:(
Fished lower river wed. (11/6) got 5 lakers & 1 bass, nice day & had a good time!
So friday we were the first out on the big pond of the yr other than those fishing out of the Niagara. We picked 8 browns out of the oak to the west in 3 hrs all in 5 or so fow. Find the stained water find the fish. No docks in so a small boat is a must also. Plan on dodging an ice cube well ok an iceberg or 2 .flat lines 100 back and same off boards. Good feeling pretty much knowing we kicked 2014 into gear being the first out.

Launched the east side, the gates locked on west side. There aren't docks in so bring waders. We fished west stay shallow look for colored water you will see the patches that are good. Run stickbaits at least 60 back to 100. Speed was 2 + judge by lure action. Fish are there I'll be back out soon. Like next weekend I hope if possible. I won't launch my boat till docks in to big now. Good luck can't wait to hear where and how you did.

Well, went Mon. Am. to lower river & got 0 fish! We did the artpark drift & went out to the bar & got 0 at both spots. We talked to 4 other boats & they all did the same thing. We saw 1 charter guy with 5 fish & we talked to another one we know ,he got 14 with 2 being lakers & the rest were steelies.(1-14#) We tried everything we had, no luck. All the fish were caught came on minnows, & golden shiners which we didn't have! :mad: Was great to be out, better luck next time, I hope!:rolleyes:
My friends did 20 in combo browns and steelhead today by 11:30 out of the oak

Thanks for the reports. It was nice out today and I was walking around the boat. I was thinking about when I can take the shrink wrap off. We'll not yet anyhow. The weekend is not supposed to be that great and probably some rain.
Head east my friend head east. I got a rub in call then read post. It'll be a mad housr once docks are in.
I guess we sort of fall under the "Don't leave fish to find fish" theory.
Its on fire there just sucks no docks in yet
May get there this week yet, depending on the weather & appointments.
I hope you do honestly, I want to here a good report from you when you do. It's all about the fishing. I can't wait till docks are in "H"EYE STRUNG misses the water.

If she quits blowing i think it'll help it out. The mud line should be nice and i believe the sun is supposed to shine tomorrow so that'll make it better. Find water with color you should. Be able to pick the spots from a ways away by color if you see bottom lookin down it's to clear. The hot ticket have been sticks in bright colors also perch patterns. I think you'll have a good day out.
