Had another 25+ day at the Oak today! A bit cool & breezy but fun! :D
It's on fire this yr. Soon I'll be out damn temps gotta quit slammin down below freezing. Good job lineman days like that make it worth the trip
For sure worth the trip. FYI, all the docks are in on both sides & the park gates are open. We launched at the park. Browns still closed no ice cream!:(
We did have a mix of all 3, fished 6-20 fow. all to the west.
Hey, this is a little late, but fished Sandy Creek Sunday and managed 8 for 10. Stained spring water buy shore is gone, but trolled the run off stained or dirty water from crick east and did ok for 4hrs. Most said at launch they caught less so we did ok. Water temp 46-47. Best bait green firetiger sticks 100' back on big boards.
Just got some reliable info the kings have come out of hiding off the bar and out of the oak. The fish out of the oak are out from the 26 to the 29 line in good numbers and soon to start moving inshore slowly. Been a deads season for most so hopefully the fall will be a redemption on the big pond.
Thanks for the info.!!
Fished the lower river yesterday . 3 of us caught & released 34 steelies. all good fighters, lots of fun! Went with Kingfisher Charters, had a great day! Check out the pics on his facebook page.
Wow! Way to go Lineman. ;) I'm glad to hear that someone is still getting out there. I look at my boat all shrink wrapped and think about next year.
Lineman - I went to look at the pics and couldn't find any. I did find Kingfisher Charters in Oswego. It looks like Fishkillers boat. Is that the one you went on?
Google Kingfisher Charters & go to the one that says Olcott sports & recreation & facebook.
Lineman - Ok I got them. Nice fish. :)
Thanks for the direction.

Had a pretty good day on the lower river. Ended up with 13 fish 11 steelies & 2 nice browns. Sunny day, a little cool north wind, & no ice burgs!
Fished Oak orchard yesterday ended up with 4 browns & 1 laker, another nice day!
At the Oak yesterday, lake was flat, slight breeze & no bugs. Ended up with 1- 12# steelie & 2 small kings. Slow pickings for us, fish still out deep.
Lake flipped this past weekend and the weather has turned on the fish at Sandy Creek north of Brockport where I roost. Was down there last night after work and they are pulling fish out on a regular basis now. The action at the oak is probably good too now I would imagine. Boats combat trolling the mouth. Just a heads up.
