Auto Pilot ??????
My summer fishing is trolling and by myself most of the time. Have been thinking about installing an Auto Pilot on my Alumacraft 175 Navigator. Anyone have any experience in using them on smaller boats? If so, what models are recommended? Would appreciate any and all of your input in regards to Auto Pilots. Thanks in advance.

That size rig if you could afford it minn kota bow mount nothing better. They hold course and even anchor to within a few feet when anchor mode is selected. I know a few with them and they run kicker for thrust and minn kota to keep course. I'm not familiar with all models but I'm sure it'd be your best option.

Check out the Raymarine EV-200 Sport. It's a helm mounted pilot, mounts
behind the steering wheel & recommended for smaller boats. I'm sold on the
Raymarine EV-200 Hydraulic, which I'm having installed this spring in my 2101
Seaswirl Striper.
