B & B are great easy access as chambers are slit so you can get you fingers in and grab bait. As Skipper 9 says They Float

I use the special mate boxes myself. I have spoken with david at dreamcatcher bait and tackle aka old bait barn and he has a way to get them. I would stop in so you can check them out.

I agree on the B&B box. I have been untangling baits for years and this box works great. Picked it up at Bays Edge in Marblehead.Storing stick baits-march-2016-003-jpg

I use the same Branham and they are an inexpensive option.

I use Planos 3701 boxes. Those are the thin Version of the 3700. I then have a Shimano bag that came with the wider 3700 boxs. With the thin version boxes you can fit more crankbaits in the same size bag and still keep them somewhat separate. I will still put some small cranks of the same color together. I have two of these shimano bags. I normally have small cranks in one and large cranks in the other. With the boxes I can switch some stuff to one bag if I do not want to take both along.

Thanks a lot for the good info guys. I believe I will invest in the B&B. They don't appear to have a real good way of identifying each individual lure (by lure name), but that's no big thing.

I have used Plano 3700 boxes for years. I label each box on all sides with red nail polish to lighten my search for a lure e.i. P10, DDHJ, LAB, DDRR, etc.

I bought a couple of these. Hold 14 each, 7 a side. They have drain slots and I just wrote lure names on the inside lid. I only have a couple dozen sticks and did not want to spend close to 100 bucks just to store my baits.

I just these in a small fishing bag to easily carry with me if needed

I have about 60 more stickbaits that need to be stored on the boat. Question is, what are you all using to contain your lures? I appreciate all advice.
I use the Plano 3700 boxes (32 baits in each), because I don't have the room on my boat to store baits in the big B&B or Special Mate boxes. I agree those are nice to keep baits separated, but I can store up to 32 of the 3700 boxes in my boat's storage compartments, and keep the floors clear of stuff to trip over.
