Went out of Catawba about a mile SW of Green island fishing was slow caught a 9 pounder at 8am on a blue and silver pimple worked our way west of the island with no luck talked to a few fisherman with the same luck 1 or 2 in the am. Heard they were in there petty good Thursday and Friday go figure. Lol... All in all we had a good time the weather was beautiful better luck next weekend! There is a decent size crack out there that we crossed with no troubles not to scare any one just be careful and cross with good judgment. Be safe and good fishing.
