[QUOTE=Eyezcrazy;43990]I hear ya brother! Tagged my buck early in archery season now I have the beagles warmed up for some rabbits after deer gun season is out of the way, but this is when I start thinking about those eyes over in the western basin! Already looking forward to warm weather fishing![/QUOTE)
Hunting behind beagles for some rabbits sounds like a blast.. I havent done that since I was a kid.

spring
4 months off yet. I am ready but we have to wait on the cold. Just think of what another cold winter could do for spawning of walleye. I think I have got myself talked into ice fishing this yr if we get ice. Winter was bad enough last year I bought another yet bigger snow blower, now I have 2. Should start a winter business maybe. HMMM.

December 21st
Shortest day of the year will be the Winter solstice on Sunday, December 21st.
GOOD NEWS is that beginning on December 22nd each day going forward is a little longer with more daylight. May not be that comforting to many but at least we'll be moving in the right direction.
Keep a log on the fire
