Hey, BLACK PEARL. I Was just sitting here thinking about something. Last year going into august, the perch fishing was hot out east. I guess they call it the dumping grounds? 8 to 10 miles east outa mazuriks. Have u heard anyone trying out there yet? Jw. I remember you bein one of the guys posting about that area. We busted em out there too. Let me know

I've never fished there do early but yes I have done very well out there Mid August till the bitter end had a 4 man limit in 1 hour 20min lat Labor Day 2013!

The wife and I got a 60 perch limit, 18lbs at the cleaners on a line from Meinke's West to the Detroit river just in to 23 feet of water. 2 big chanel cats, 4 sheepshead, a ton of white perch. 1 white bass. Some of the white perch were huge. Used a little extra weight to get it to the bottom quicker. If you got it to the bottom with out the white perch grabbing it you would catch yellow perch.
