    I was going to switch to a rig like what you described cause they were all getting deep hooked on the spreader, but at least they weren't pulling off !

    If you really want to feel the soft bite, go to braided line. I couldn't believe the difference in sensitivity when I made the switch. Thanks again to Wakina for that suggestion.

    It better float and have an outboard. Looks like that would be the bottom of the sandbar.
