cant get boat to troll below 1.5 1.6

Thank you for the wisdom. I'm a newbie and i hear 1.5 and below for cranks and harnesses. 1.8 2.2 for spoons. Maybe my speed wasn't the problem. Maybe it was my depth. The only leads i caught a fish on were 50 back rr800's . husky jerks and dp thunderstick didnt catch a anything.

They came up higher this last week. Did you try some shorter leads like,20 or 30? Where did you fish?

I have the Trolo Matic on my 24' walk around cuddy with chevy v8 and it does a nice job down to about 1.3 mph. It does seem to effect handling at very low speeds when docking since it drops into position. It gets good reviews on cabelas as well.

Ditto on the Trol-A-Matic. I have a 21.5' Chris Craft w/ 230 merCruiser I/O. The Trol-A-Matic slowed me down. Worked great until I banged a rock in reverse...replaced it and will be back at it again soon.
