~honey hole~ east of Niagara Reef August 30th Friday
Went to my "ole honey hole" just east of the green buoy in 30 fow @ Niagara Reef.
30 Yellow Perch , 7#'s at the cleaners, not hogs but good anyway.
Once they started it was up and down and 4 doubles.
I also got out of those white perch that I have been catching near H Can.
I use a spreader, red true turn hooks, minnows on the bottom ~ and a very light bite. Watch your pole tip and when it wiggles pull some lips off~~~~
FISH ON~!

~60 Yellow Perch near Sugar Island~Friday September 6th, 2013
60 Yellow perch just south of Sugar Island in 30 fow using spreaders, minnows and no bling.
Started the day trying to catch walleye south of the NW reef.
Marked fish but no bite. Well except for a sheep or two.
Tried the trolling thing and too much grass.
So....went to my "Honey Hole" near Sugar Island and 60 perch.
17# pounds at the cleaners.

No Perch For Me Today~!
~no perch but plenty of sheep head~
went to "H" can and caught a bunch of sheep head~ waves were rolling 1-3 with a 4 every now and then.
They were not big enough to try the "poor mans shrimp" noted on the sheep head thread. But the sea gulls seem to like them.
I did not have a lot of time to fish today but it was still fun.

Great job. Sounds like I needed to keep heading north. I tried 7-8 spots around Green and Rattlesnake islands today. I just couldn't get anything going. It was slim pickings. I probably caught 20, but only 6 that were big enough to keep.
