Had a friend in that same area with you today with the same results. We went on out to D can and it was just as good in the morning. Just a farther travel across the water.

I heard yesterday at Marblehead fish cleaning that D can has been on fire. S of Green was good too. Going to try D can in two weeks. Hope the bite is still on. Thanks for the help on how to find it. I'm assuming from Catawba you head strait towards Ohio Edison and look for yellow can marked D would that be the general direction.

Hope you get back out there soon. Your reports are great. Went out se of g can last Saturday. Got 36 in a couple hours. Could have had more. One 11 inch perch and one 14 inch walleye in the mix. Was hoping the walleye would be legal but had to toss him. Do people fish worm harnesses out there for walleye at all?

Got a question about your recommendation on how to hook your minnows. Do you hook thru the eyes or back, also what are your thoughts about double hooking thru eyes and in to back to keep them from stealing the bait. Seems like that kills them but how important is it to keep the minnow alive.

9-21-2020 30 yellow perch SE of G can 22 fow
Caught 30 more yellow perch 4 hours today, slow at first then it picked up.
Windy at first then the wind settled down and the bite was better after that.
Still had the boat swing and it was less bouncy.
One head boat was there and then moved NW.
Golden shiners, spreaders on the bottom and no bling.
2 sheep head , 6 white perch and 2 yellow trow back.
Very nice fish 10 pounds at the cleaners.
Back soon, this week looks good so far as the weather goes and will try to get out as much as I can this week.
