Walleye Disappearing Act/Maumee bay
Went out 4/21/11 and searched the bay over. Congrats to firetiger, WTG. We could not find them. We seached the Pear, Humps to the south, West side of freight channel. 6 fow, 9 fow, 11 fow, 13 fow. There they were???? GONE! We did catch a couple but all in all I dont know where they went. The last few days of gales from the east then the west must have either sent them upstream or back to deeper water. To support firetiger. The couple we did catch did ran smaller than normal.
Arghhhhhh! Why mother nature gotta be like that!
Good Luck and Good Fishing

Im sure the like you said the wind scattered them. We caught as many fish on one drift on the 14th as we did on 6 drifts yesterday ? I cant remember any other April in the last 6yrs that have been this bad weather and wind wise, usually you can pull a four man ticket in a fews drifts this time of year.
