Any walleye around the reefs?

Would it be worth the time and gas to make the 3.5 hour drive this Friday to try catching some walleye around Oak Harbor? Thanks for any replies

I would think with this prolonged blow the water would be pretty muddy around the western basin.No reports from that area either.

Thanks, I guess I will put the boat up for the season and patiently wait for early spring bite. I was holding out but it is time. It was either go to the lake for one more outing or sit in the blind on opening day, which is not a bad thing Thank you very much for the reply.

I was out to Vermilion last Saturday and was marking fish in 38 to 42 fow, but we ended up coming back in soon because we had 15+ mph winds out of the NNE and were getting 3 to 4 footers. If I was going tomorrow I would think Huron to Lorain would be your best shot of success, but it's a farther drive as well. The link below has a good satellite image as of today.
