Default Draggin the Line With John and DD

The 3 of us fished Saturday the 19th and the previous weekend in Canada. Pretty much the same area both days just north of old C can. Got our 18 fish limit in 2.5hrs with fish 18-23" this past saturday. Weight was 42lbs. No sorting...didn't catch anything smaller than 18". Got about 5 sheep and 2 white bass also. The week before the 2 of us caught our limit in 3hrs with fish 20-26' that weighed 33lbs. Got only one sheep. Speed 2.2-2.5mph. Had on Spoon harness on 3 setting dipsey @ 60 and 65 and PWC on both boards at 100. Same program both days but added dipseys @ 1 setting at 48 and 53 with 3 of us with a worm harness and a J9. Everything caught.

They used to mark the border with cans back in the day before GPS. That can was called C can and its like 3-4 miles east of kellies island shoal.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm still learning the lingo of the lake a little bit and hadn't heard of the old C can before.

Years ago I didn't know it either. I was going fishing with a friend about 6 yrs ago and I reached out to a charter captain friend about where we should start. He told me C can and some numbers.I thought he was talking C can on the firing range. We took off toward the firing range C can and as I was watching the latitude and longitude numbers changing I realized we were going the wrong direction.I did some quick googling on phone and realized the error and where we needed to go.Took a big u-turn and eventually ended up where we needed to go.But the guys gave me that look like I was an idiot.Heard about it all day.Thank God we caught well that day.
