Draggin the Line with John and DD

We fished Thursday off Huron in 43 fow. My girlfriend Diane joined us and helped reel in her fish too We initially were going to start fishing where we caught last week in Canadian waters.We headed to the line and proceeded east.Stopped north of old C can and tried there for 20 min but left after catching 2 sheepshead.Headed east and the area we caught last week were devoid of marks.Kept going east to weather bouy and still no marks.So SW we went towards Huron.We ran 4 dipseys and 2 boards.Missed the early bite due to the long boat ride.Had J 9 on 1 setting at 50 and 55 and monkey puke spoon harness on the 3 setting at 67 and 75.Initally had bandits on the boards but they weren't catching so switched to Bill Lewis PWC light chrome black headed wonderbread cranks.Had them out at 100 unassisted and they started catching too.Took is around 3 hrs to get our 18/45 lbs and when we finished with #18 had fish on all 5 rods when we cleared them...go figure.Got home and cleaned up before storms hit....thank you.Big surprise was the two 27" fish we caught on the crank and the spoon harness.Thought had on big sheepshead and was definitely surprised to see big eyes instead.
