However I doubt the other posters will change their opinion based on your quote. A fair assumption of north could be up to 40 degrees give, or take. At 4-5 miles out that could be a search area of 4-6 square miles.

Yes, that's correct, but it gives a general area. They are still able to use their own fish finders to mark fish and start wherever they want. There are fish all over the place right now.
