    Default Is it worm time?

The weather has put this dog on the porch.
We all must have had this issue to some extent.
Some boat issues have been fixed, so this dog is ready to hunt. So do I put my jigging pole to rest?
So are we close to the water temp to worm on?
Spread the word , be safe and fish on!

Got them yesterday on bottom bouncers and worm harness. Purple Demon was the only thing that got the eyes. Drifting west of west sister past the mud line.

Fished out of Lorain yesterday, west of the dump. Water was very dirty. Even 5 miles out could only see about a foot. But we marked lots of fish. Two of us managed 10 keepers in 3 hours. 3 hogs, 7 nice eaters and half dozen shorts. Worm harnesses on dipsey divers up high got 9. Will be a slaughter there when the water clears.

Off the porch today for this Dog.
Long legs from Port Clinton to the western reefs, Round and Toussaint Reef area. Water was better there. Worms, sinner golden mix, spreader, worm harness and an erie dearie. All drifting.
2 nice white perch, 2 nice yellow perch, and one white bass. Had one hookup thought it could be a walleye but it pulled the hook.
Anyway they were all released and no worse for the education.
Three head boats left the area and headed to the north side of Catawba.
When the head boats are looking around about noon you know they were not doing well either.
Anyway, will be back at it and may try my honey hole at G can.

    be safe, back soon,
    Water Dog
