    Default Weekend Fishing

My wife and I will be going out Friday evening and then Saturday. We will probably jig Friday and troll Saturday. If anyone wants to share info while we are out let me know and we can exchange phone numbers and stay in touch while we are on the water. We will be going out from Wild Wings

I'm sorry I don't have any info to give, but I'm going out Saturday morning. I'm going to try some jigging off of mouse island. If I don't get anything in a hour or so I'm heading for the ferry line to troll bandits at about 80 back unassisted.

I didn't catch anything by mouse jigging. I saw a bunch of boats NW of Kelley's Island, so I went up there and threw worm harness for about 3 hours and got 8 keeper walleyes, 2 shorts, 1 perch, and a few white bass. Trolled back home to catawba Island and didn't catch anything on the way back.

I went out of Huron Saturday straight north out of the inlet, 45 feet of water, did pretty good trolling bandits 85 ft back unassisted.

Sat, May 10th, arrived Turtle Creek 10:00AM and got boat set up. Headed out the channel with our sights set on cleaner water 12 miles out, WNW of W Sister. Saw a decent pack of boats and got set up as we were about a mile out. Jets n spoons P and FM 11 SB. Live Jets n Spoons and stern hologram spro 100'. Picked up 1 fish quick and then a slow grind to 2. Nothing on FM 11, switched out to mag lip, nothing on them so eventually set full spread to Jets n spoons. Fish 3- 16 came in pretty steady fashion but 17 & 18 took 90 minutes. Picked up number 18 shortly after 4:00pm. 27-28 FOW. 58-60 water temp. 2.0-2.2mph. 30 tru-trip 65' or 50 tru-trip 45'.
