Can the bigger boats get out of Turtle Creek yet? Took 24.5 Bayliner up last week and don’t want to make two and a half hour trip to get stuck in the channel. Thanks for any info.

Yes, I have launced out of Fenwick Marina the last 2 weeks. I run a 22 foot Starcraft Islander with a I.O out drive and havent had any problems. After going under the bridge just stay just to the left by the gas docks and you wont have any problems. There been several Sport Craft inboards going out as well with no issues. My boat is slipped at Fenwicks, Hope this helps

At some point soon there will be a barge with an excavater possibly blocking the channel, so maybe call ahead: 419-898-7009.

They are supposed to be dredging any day now. However, even when they are working on it, you can still come and go with little delay.

Thank you. Was up yesterday not a problem getting out. Jigged edge of mudline with no bites switched to boards only picked up one. Lots of people jigging and casting but we didn't see many nets coming down. We were mainly there to give the boat a good shakedown and didn't fish that hard. Let the fun begin next week
