my garmin usually shows any fish, even the ones hugging the bottom. In this case, we did mark fish in places but couldn’t catch. We marked a bunch on the east side of toussaint reef but didn’t catch anything. They were pretty bunched up in that area. We ran all the way east to west across and only marked fish on the eastern third. They were on top of the reef in 12 feet of water but close to where the reef started falling off.

water clarity wasn’t great but you could see at least a foot to two feet down.
