9/21 & 9/23 Perching
Fished 9-21 with 2 neighbors. Started West of Mouse, caught 6, moved to the Green can, caught nothing, went over by G can,
did not see much here. Headed South and found some good marks and set up. Caught another 17 here. Fished about 5.5 hours and ended
with 23 yellow perch, weighing 9# at Sassy Sal Fish cleaning. The new operators here are fantastic.
Fished 9-23 with another neighbor, set up at 8 AM South of G. The wind was not bad early, was mainly out of the East so Catawba shielded us
until the wind shifted to the ENE, then it became very bumpy near 12:30. The slow pick we had slowed even more when the wind shifted.
Caught 27 perch at the first spot, made a Northerly move about 1/8 mile or so, to some better marks but the bite did not improve and the size diminished.
Kept 8 perch under 9", 4 coming from the last spot. Fished under 5 hours and ended with 31 for a crew of 2. Weight at Sassy Sals was 15#.
Super nice grade of fish at the first spot!! Got off the lake before it got real nasty. Fished Goldies both days.
Beautiful couple of days on the lake!

Nice job! Sounds like the yellow gold hogs are back and good to see you scored some of them.
Fish on and keep those lines tight,
