Just heard from one of the men who were with us on Friday that one of his buddies capsized Saturday anchored from the Stern also. 3 men in the water with no life jackets on but fortunately the coast guard got to them in time be careful out there lake erie is not to be toyed with!

Yes, I saw quite a few bigger boats anchored from the stern...unfortunately to many are having to learn the hard way !!! If your boat is difficult to anchor from the bow...change it !! There are many anchoring options that can be made to make anchoring from the bow much less effort !! To many folks think it wont happen to them....but to often it does happen to someone who thought they were to smart or watch to closely....it happens to quick for you to react. Be safe out there !!!
